Power tools stolen from empty home in Bournemouth

Police are investigating an incident in Dingle Road

Several power tools and building equipment have been stolen from an empty home in Bournemouth, with police investigating.

Entry was forced to a property in Dingle Road at some point between 4.00pm last Wednesday (19th February) and 7.00am the following morning (Thursday 20th).

The burglary saw a jigsaw, hammer drill, reciprocating saw, multi tool, planer, angle grinder, second fix nail gun, impact driver, drill driver, sander, three large toolboxes and various chargers and batteries taken.

There's now an appeal for any witnesses to contact police.

PC Harry Clark, of Dorset Police, said:

“We are conducting enquiries into this burglary, and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the night of Wednesday 19 February 2025.

“I would also be keen to hear from anyone who has come across any tools matching those described being offered for sale locally or online in suspicious circumstances.”
