Man stabbed during mobile phone theft in Bournemouth
The victim was assaulted in Derby Road early this morning
A man has been stabbed while having his mobile phone stolen in Bournemouth.
Police say it happened in Derby Road, just before 5am this morning.
The victim who's in his 30's was taken to hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be serious.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"Officers attended with the ambulance service and a cordon was put in place to allow for an examination of the scene.
"A detailed investigation is underway and officers have been carrying out initial enquiries in the area, including house-to-house and CCTV, to establish the full circumstances of what happened."
No arrests have been made at this time.
