72 year old man due in court over Dorchester fail-to-stop crash
A woman in her 80s was seriously hurt last November
A 72 year old man from Dorchester is due to appear in court next month, in connection with a fail-to-stop crash.
A woman pedestrian in her 80s was left with serious injuries, in a collision with a car on Bridport Road, near the Williams Avenue junction, in November last year.
The driver of the car allegedly didn't stop at the scene and drove away towards Poundbury.
A man later came forward following a police appeal and investigations.
He's been issued with a postal requisition to attend Weymouth Magistrates Court on 11th June.
He'll face charges of causing serious injury by careless driving and failing to stop after a road accident.
