Dorset’s NHS community and mental health services information meeting

People across Dorset can learn more about the work of their local mental health and community NHS trust, at Dorset Healthcare’s Annual Members’ Meeting this month.
The Trust is hosting the event, online, on 30 September (5-6.30pm), to enable more people from across the county to attend and anyone is welcome to join.
The meeting, hosted by Trust Chair David Clayton-Smith, will include a presentation on work to support children and young people with mental health issues when they attend hospital, including how young patients and their families have shaped local services.
Chief Executive, Matthew Bryant, will also reflect on developments at the Trust over the past year and look ahead to plans for 2027 and there will be a report from the organisation’s Council of Governors.
Guests will hear more about how the Trust will continue to involve local people, in planning and monitoring services. They will also have the chance to give their views, in an electronic poll, as well as ask questions about Trust services and future plans.
