Police investigating a collision in Bournemouth which left a man seriously injured are appealing for witnesses.
A red Ford Fiesta collided with a pedestrian on the southbound carriageway of the A338 Spur Road at 12.41am on Saturday (25 July).
The pedestrian – a 27-year-old man from Bournemouth – was taken to hospital for treatment.
His condition is described as potentially life-threatening. The driver of the Ford Fiesta was uninjured.
Police Sergeant Josh Alner, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish what happened and I am keen to hear from any witnesses.
“I would also like to speak to anyone who may have been travelling in the area at the relevant time and captured anything on dashcam footage that may assist our investigation.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and cooperation during the road closure, which enabled officers to carry out a thorough examination of the scene.”
