Woman, 20s, seriously injured after e-scooter collision near Cranbrook

Police are asking for witnesses following the single vehicle collision

A woman in her 20s has been left seriously injured after an e-scooter collision near Cranbrook.

Emergency services were called to Parsons Lane, between Cranbrook and Rockbeare, at 6.50pm on Sunday 25th January after reports of the single vehicle crash.

The rider was found in the road and taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital for treatment. She has since been transferred to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth where she remains in a serious condition.

Police appeal for witnesses

Police officers carried out an investigation at the scene and the road was closed until around 9.30pm.

They are now investigating how the incident happened and asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to submit information through the Force website or by telephone on 101, quoting log number 593 of 25/01/26.
