Police investigate after a pedestrian was hurt in a crash involving a white Audi

A man in his 60s is in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries after a collision on Tothill Avenue in Plymouth.

The incident occurred around 10pm on 4th February and involved a pedestrian and a white Audi, which reportedly left the scene.

The road closed as officers conducted their investigation, it has since reopened.

Police have found the vehicle nearby following inquiries.

A 21-year-old man is in custody on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene, and driving under the influence of drugs.

Authorities are urging anyone with information, witness accounts, or dashcam footage to aid the investigation.
