Motorbike rider seriously injured in two-vehicle crash

Traffic was suspended following a road accident between Newton Abbot and Torquay last night (25/06).
The incident occurred around 5.30pm on St Marychurch Road, near the junction with Ridgeway Lane.
The crash involved a silver VW car and a red motorbike.
The rider of the motorbike sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
