Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 60s died in a single-vehicle collision on the A30 near Pathfinder Village on Friday evening (14 November).

Emergency services were called at around 5.50pm to reports that a grey VW Transporter had crashed on the westbound carriageway.

Despite the efforts of responders, the driver, a man from Northamptonshire, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was partially closed for several hours while specialist officers carried out investigation work.

Police have thanked motorists for their patience during the disruption.

Officers are now urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who has relevant dash-cam footage from the area around the time, to get in touch.
