'If you want to help improve rail services then come and have your say'
Rail bosses are this week meeting passengers in Torbay to listen to concerns
A summit's been called to see how rail services can be improved in Torbay - and other parts of Devon.
It's been called by MP Steve Darling with key players like Network Rail, GWR and Cross Country all invited to listent to feedback and concerns.
The meeting - which is open to anyone wanting to make their voice heard - takes place between 2pm and 4pm on Friday at the Torbay Community Cafe in Torquay's Temperance Street.
Torbay MP Steve Darling said: "Our railways in Torquay and Paignton can be a really effective way of travelling across Devon or reaching out further.
"But I, and I know many other people, will want to see improvements and enhancements for them.
"So I’m keen to make sure that we all come together and share what our hopes and fears are for the railways.
"I’ve managed to get people from GWR, Cross Country and Network Rail and other key stakeholders together to make sure we develop an action plan on this and drive positive change for our area."
