Flood warning issued for South Devon coast

The warning is in place at Beesands, Torcross, Slapton and Dawlish

A flood warning has been issued for parts of Devon today (Tuesday 21 April 2026).

The warning has been issued for the South Devon coast at Beesands, Torcross, Slapton and Dawlish.

The Environment Agency says high tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding overnight.

We are being told to avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
