Police investigate reported knife assault in Exeter

Police in Exeter are investigating reports of an assault, where a man was reportedly left with a knife wound in his hand.

Officers were called at around 8.30pm on Monday 15th September to Okehampton Road.

A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with a suspected knife wound. He's since been discharged.

A 38-year-old man from Exeter was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent, and has since been released on police bail.

Devon and Cornwall police are now urging anyone with information or footage that could help police to contact them on 101 or on their website quoting 50250240409.
