28-year-old woman dies after crash on A30 near Honiton

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after the collision on Saturday (8 August)

A 28-year-old woman has died after a crash on the A30 near Honiton.

Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police were called to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a grey Cupra Formentor at around 2:10pm on Saturday 8 August.

The front seat passenger of the vehicle - a woman from the Milton Keynes area - was declared dead at the scene.

Police say the driver sustained minor injuries and next of kin have been informed.

Roads Policing Officers alongside local officers carried out a thorough investigation of the scene and the road was closed for several hours.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has relevant footage is being asked to contact Devon and Cornwall Police.
