Woman seriously injured in Barrow attack
Police are appealing for witnesses

Police are investigating an assault in Barrow which left a woman in her 50s with serious injuries.
It happened on 13 June at 11:25pm on Hibber Road. Afterwards, the suspect ran towards Settle Street.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The suspect was wearing a black hoodie and was also alleged to be wearing a black face covering on the lower half of their face.
