Man charged following drugs bust in Penrith

He's been charged with drugs offences and Assault occasioning Actual Bodily Harm

A man has been charged with a number of offences following a drugs bust in Penrith yesterday (18th February).

Officers carried out an early morning warrant at an address on Albert Street.

They found £1,500-worth of cocaine and other drugs paraphernalia.

34-year-old Sam Moore, of no fixed abode, was arrested and has been charged with:

  • Being Concerned in the supply of a Class A Drug – Cocaine
  • Possession with intent to supply a controlled Drug of Class A – Cocaine
  • Possession of a controlled Drug of Class B - Cannabis / Cannabis Resin
  • Assault occasioning Actual Bodily Harm
  • Criminal Damage

He's due at Barrow Magistrates' Court today.
