Police seek witnesses following a dog attack incident

A 27-year-old man from Carlisle was injured in an incident involving a dog on Dalston Road.

The incident occurred around 7:45pm on 10th April and left the man with wounds to his leg.

The dog, which was believed to be a black cross-breed, possibly a Doberman, was reported to be dangerously out of control.

Descriptions indicate that the dog's owner was a white man, potentially in his 40s or 50s, dressed in yellow wellies, a green jacket, and black trousers.

Police are now seeking witnesses who may have seen the incident.
