Man charged after Kirkby Stephen raid reveals £450k cannabis farm

A man has been charged after officers found a cannabis farm worth almost half a million pounds in Kirkby Stephen.

Agim Cjapi, 32, of Market Street, Kirkby Stephen, has been charged with producing a controlled Class B drug.

Officers conducted a raid at an address in Market Square yesterday (1 July).

They found a cannabis farm with plants worth an estimated £450,000.

Cjapi appeared in court today and will next appear on 31 July.
