Crews attend commercial fire in Workington

Firefighters are currently responding to a fire in the open, at a commercial property on Snape Road, Workington.

Residents and businesses nearby are advised to close windows and doors, due to smoke from the incident.

Emergency service colleagues are also in attendance and the following road closures are in place:

• Bessemer Way roundabout down Solway Road to the Junction of Morley Street / Senhouse Street

• Industrial estate entrance on Lowther Road
