Woman charged with multiple thefts at shops in Coventry

A woman arrested and charged in connection with multiple thefts at shops in Coventry is due in court today (9 April).

33-year-old Shannon Knight, from the city, has been charged with four theft offences between the 21st and 24th of February.

In a statement, West Mercia Police said: "We have arrested and charged a woman with multiple thefts at shops in Coventry.

"Neighbourhood officers made the arrest on Telfer Road in Coventry last night (Mon) shortly before 9.30am.

"Shannon Knight, aged 33, from Coventry, has been charged with four theft offences between 21 and 24 February.

"She has been remanded to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court tomorrow (Wed) for a first hearing."
