City-wide celebrations will be taking place this Bank Holiday Monday, 4 May, as Coventry City mark their return to the Premier League with an open-top bus parade through the streets.

In partnership with Coventry City Council, the parade will begin at 1pm from the CBS Arena before moving through a carefully planned route designed to pass through a number of residential areas and community routes.

The bus will travel through Holbrook Way, Holbrook Lane, Parkgate Road, Beake Avenue, Bruce Road, Wallace Road, Norman Place Road, Hollyfast Road, Westhill Road, Barkers Butts Lane, Moseley Avenue, Holyhead Road, Four Pounds Avenue and Queensland Avenue, before concluding at Hearsall Common.

The route has been designed to bring the celebrations closer to supporters across the city, including areas that have not previously hosted events of this scale, with fans encouraged to gather along the way to mark the occasion.

Following the public parade, players and staff will continue on to the War Memorial Park, where “We Are Back: Live” will run from 1pm to 7pm. The festival will feature live music and entertainment, with Tom Grennan and Coventry’s own The Enemy set to headline. The promotion-winning squad will also be introduced on stage.

Organisers say the aim is to create a shared city moment, with supporters of all ages expected to line the route and take part in the celebrations as they move through neighbourhoods and well-known local spots.
