Warwickshire towns among Britain’s happiest places to live
Royal Leamington Spa and Stratford-Upon-Avon have been named among the happiest places to live in Britain
Two Warwickshire towns have been named among the happiest places to live in Britain.
Royal Leamington Spa topped the county, coming in 12th on Rightmove’s latest happiness rankings in the UK.
The spa town, known for its historic architecture and vibrant community, has been praised for its high quality of life, green spaces, and strong sense of community.
Stratford-upon-Avon, famous as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, also made the list, securing 28th place.
The historic town continues to attract both residents and visitors with its cultural heritage and scenic surroundings.
Colleen Babcock, Rightmove's property expert, said: "Each year our study celebrates all the different things that make us feel happy with where we live - our neighbours, green spaces, having access to important services.
"A lot more goes into choosing an area to live other than the home itself. Being within easy reach of nature and green spaces regularly comes out as an important factor for people, along with having friendly neighbours and feeling you can truly be yourself where you live."
