Antisocial behaviour remains a significant issue for many people across Warwickshire, but targeted interventions are showing promising results.

Efforts to reduce these incidents have been tailored to specific areas, with impressive outcomes in locations such as Leamington and Nuneaton.

In Leamington's Pump Room Gardens, reports of serious violence and antisocial behaviours have decreased by 90% over the span of two years, from 2024 to 2025.

This reduction demonstrates that tailored approaches to specific locations can lead to notable improvements.

Further measures targeting street drinking and violence at a local club in Leamington have also seen success, with reports of antisocial behaviour reduced to one in four and serious violence involving street drinking halved.

The club has experienced a 75% drop in serious violence and antisocial behaviour, and wounding incidents have been totally eliminated over the measured four-month period.

Nuneaton has also benefitted, where a local restaurant dealing with antisocial behaviour and serious violence has seen a 64% reduction in crime over six months.

Such targeted interventions are part of Op Resolve, which uses data-backed strategies, tailored to specific areas and times.

Op Resolve encourages community reports of antisocial behaviour and crime, as these are essential for effective action.

Warwickshire authorities have released the 2026/27 antisocial behaviour action plan, outlining nine strands of activity for the current year.

The plan is publicly available and details the collaborative efforts from various partners as they continue to address these community concerns.
