A further two teenagers have been arrested by police investigating a major fire at the former Henley College in Coventry.

The building on Henley Road was severely damaged in the blaze which started on Tuesday evening (29th April).

Fire investigators believe the incident was a deliberate act.

West Midlands Police say they arrested two girls, aged 14 and 15, last night (Wednesday 30th April) on suspicion of arson.

The 14 year old remains in police custody, with the 15 year old released with strict bail conditions.

Two boys, aged 14 and 15, who'd previously been arrested have been bailed while enquiries are ongoing.

Police say they're continuing to work with partners including the Fire and Rescue Service to keep the area safe and secure.

Local patrols are also being stepped up following reports of anti-social behaviour in the area.

There's also an ongoing appeal for witnesses, or those with information about the fire, to contact officers.
