Billy Grantham and Sean Keane were arrested last year as part of an investigation into thefts of luxury SUVs in Coventry.

Now the pair have been jailed for four years each for their part in the thefts.

The two men were Tracked down to Paradise Way, having been spotted in a suspected stolen vehicle by officers.

They then attempted to flee on foot, but Grantham was arrested a short distance away. Keane was spotted by a police drone having run to the other side of the M6, where he was cornered and caught by a police dog handler.

The home addresses of both men were searched, with number plates and equipment to make them found at Grantham's house. There was also a large amount of signal blocking equipment, locksmith-style keys and equipment to override security and steal cars. Grantham was also found in possession of a number of number plates.

Neither man said anything when interviewed, with the pair charged with conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.

The pair were jailed at Warwick Crown Court earlier this month. Grantham, 28, and Keane, 30, were both jailed for 47 months. First for all the latest news from across the UK every hour on Hits Radio on DAB, at hitsradio.co.uk and on the Rayo app.
