Police appeal to trace man they want to speak to in connection to 1999 incident

Warwickshire police have released an image of a male they would like to speak to as part of investigations into an offence allegedly committed in Nuneaton 26 years ago.

Officers have said that they need to speak to 53-year-old Peter Bousfield, no further details of the offence have been released.

The force says he is thought to have links to Warwickshire, Birmingham, and Yorkshire. He could also possibly have links to Wales too.

They are urging anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch. The full appeal states: "Have you seen Peter Bousfield?

"We would like to speak to the 53-year-old in connection with an ongoing investigation regarding an offence in Nuneaton in 1999. He is thought to have links to Warwickshire, Birmingham, Yorkshire, and possibly Wales.

"If anyone has seen him or knows of his whereabouts, please call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident is 23/38732/24."
