Police are looking to speak to anyone who spoke with a distressed young woman in Newbold Comyn on Saturday night.

It's after a report of a sexual assault.

It's believe she asked for help from members of the public, one of which took her to the police station.

Warwickshire Police said: "We are looking to speak to anyone who spoke with a distressed young woman in Newbold Comyn, Jephson Gardens, or surrounding streets between 8pm and 10:15pm on Saturday 10 May.

"This follows a report of a sexual assault.

"The woman is believed to have sought help from members of the public walking past one of which took her to the police station.

"If you spoke to or saw her asking for assistance, please contact us as a matter of urgency either through our web reporting tool at www.warwickshire.police.uk/report or by calling 101.

"Remember to include Incident 362 of 10 May in your report so we can follow up as quickly as possible.

"The investigating officer is DC 1161 Webb."
