Nuneaton man charged after serious assault

A Nuneaton man has been charged and remanded in custody after a serious assault over the weekend.

On Saturday police attended a report of a male receiving stab wounds on Mendip Drive.

20 year old Harly Malinowski was arrested shortly afterwards.

HE was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife in a public place.

He has been remanded in custody ahead of his next court appearance at Leamington Crown Court on May 12th.
