Man rushed to hospital with serious leg injuries after crash on A46
The road has been closed for most of the morning
Vehicles which were involved in a crash on the A46 in Warwickshire are being recovered.
Police say a man in his 20s has been rushed to hospital with serious leg injuries.
The road has been closed going south between Coventry and Kenilworth this morning (3 June).
In an update on social media, Warwickshire Police said: "We're currently in the process of recovering vehicles after a collision earlier this morning.
"A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
"We're hoping to get the road re-opened in the next 30 minutes and would like to thank you all for your patience while we responded to the incident."
Earlier this morning, officers put road closures in place going south between the junctions for Stoneleigh and Kenilworth.
They warned drivers that closures were expected to be in place for 'several hours'.
