Man airlifted to hospital after assault in Bedworth

Warwickshire police have arrested a man suspicion of grievous bodily harm after an assault this morning that resulted in a man being airlifted to hospital
The assault occurred in Bedworth this morning
A spokesperson for the force said:
"Emergency services were called to Woodlands Road and Whitburn Road shortly after 9am to reports of an altercation.
"A man in his late 30s was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
"A 32-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and is currently in police custody.
"If anyone witnessed the event or has any dashcam footage in the area at this time, please call 101 quoting incident number 86 of 20 June 2025."
