Coventry revealed to have one of the country's highest rates of homelessness
It's according to new figures from the charity Shelter.
Coventry is among the top twenty local authorities outside London with the highest rates of homelessness.
That's according to new figures by housing charity Shelter, which reveal over 3,700 people were homeless in the city this year. There are also over thirty one thousand homeless people across the West Midlands.
The government's promising to halve the number of long-term rough sleepers by the end of the decade. It's promising three and a half billion pounds to fund their new homelessness strategy.
