Four due in court charged over Coventry armed disorder

Four people, including two teenage boys, are due before Coventry Magistrates today (Tuesday 21st May), charged in connection with an armed disorder incident in the city.

West Midlands Police were called out to Foleshill Road and around 11.00am on Saturday (17th May).

Weapons were used during the incident, with a shop worker assaulted.

They suffered facial injuries.

Four people have been charged:

• 45 year old Christian Mustata - with violent disorder and possession of a bladed article

• 22 year old Vasile-Alexandru Velisaru - with violent disorder and possession of a bladed article

• 15 year old boy - with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon

• 16 year old boy - with violent disorder

The group have all been remanded in custody.
