The wife of a man who died in a crash in Stratford last week has thanked everyone who tried to save him.
The man, whose name has not yet been revealed by his family, has been described as a 'much-loved husband and father of two'
Warwickshire Police say the man’s family have asked them to take this chance to thank emergency services and those members of the public who stopped to help during the tragic incident on Stratford’s Timothy Bridge Road on the afternoon of 11 July.
DCI Katie Reynolds said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s loved ones at this very difficult time.”
“We are currently working with a number of agencies, including Stratford-on-Avon District Council and the Health and Safety Executive, to understand the full circumstances of this incident."
The Timothy Bridge Road in Stratford closed on Friday afternoon (11 July) because of the incident after the crash.
Officers later that day confirmed a man had sadly died following the incident, with the road reopening just before 19:30.
