Drugs worth over £25k seized after raids in Rugby
Two arrests have also been made
Police have seized over £25,000 worth of suspected cocaine during a series of raids in Rugby.
Warwickshire Police's Serious and Organised Crime Team executed four drug warrants on Monday morning (March 2), raiding three homes in Hillmorton and one in Brownsover.
Two men were also arrested by detectives.
Ryan O’Neill, from Eskdale, Rugby, was arrested and has been charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and was scheduled to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (March 3).
A 36-year-old man from Rugby was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
He has been bailed until May while investigations continue.
Detective Constable Matt Rapkins from Rugby Serious and Organised Crime Team said: “These warrants have led to a considerable amount of drugs being taken off the streets of Rugby.
“I’d like to reassure local communities that we are listening to your concerns. If you have any information about drug dealing, let us know and we’ll continue to act.”
