Coventry Cathedral is set to host a live event today exploring the aftermath of trauma.

Through art, dance and personal testimonies, local artist Andy Farr created the exhibition 'Being Seen' to highlight strength and healing.

The exhibition showcases paintings developed over seven years, each inspired by conversations with trauma survivors.

Andy hopes the exhibition will spark meaningful conversations: "I used art to explore my own experiences of trauma which made me want to share the stories of others.

"I want to give people insight into how trauma feels and give them a greater understanding of people's resilience in the face of trauma.

"Some people may come to the exhibition with an experience of trauma in their personal life and hopefully seeing the stories of others, through art, will give them hope."

Andy’s work has been supported by the Institute of Mental Health, With-you, DayOne Trauma support, MIND, Arts Council England and others.

A live event for the exhibition is taking place today at Coventry Cathedral.
