Funeral to be held for founder of Coventry-based coach company
Terence Colin Hall died earlier this month
Fresh tributes will be paid at a funeral service today for the popular founder of a Coventry-based coach company.
79-year-old Terence Colin Hall died earlier this month after a short illness.
Terry started the business in 1975 and was driving coaches until December last year
His family say they’ll continue running the company, keeping the same fleet and values he believed in.
This post was published on a Facebook group in Terry's memory.
"It is with great sadness that we lost Terry on the 15th April 2026 following a short illness at the grand age of 79.
"Terry started with one coach in September 1975 & weathered the many highs & lows of operating a coach business for some 50+ yrs and was still driving most days until mid December 2025.
"The family will be continuing as per his wishes as Terrys Coaches Ltd with the same fleet of MAN Neoplan / Vanhool coaches from the same operating base in Coventry, upholding the values & standards he insisted upon."
The service begins at Canley Crematorium in Coventry at 11:30am.
A fundraising page has also been set up in his memory.
