Coombe Abbey Park praised in VisitEngland assessment
Attraction scores 93% overall, with perfect marks for its arrival experience
Coombe Abbey Park has been recognised as one of the region’s leading visitor attractions after scoring 93 per cent in its latest VisitEngland assessment.
The Quality Assured Visitor Attraction scheme independently assesses attractions on areas including visitor experience, customer service, facilities and presentation.
The park scored an impressive 97 per cent for its staff, with assessors praising their enthusiasm, friendliness, knowledge and commitment to customer care. It also received a perfect 100 per cent for its arrival experience.
Assessors highlighted the range of experiences on offer, including the park’s heritage, nature conservation, family activities, outdoor recreation and year-round events.
High standards of presentation, maintenance and cleanliness were also recognised across the grounds, buildings and visitor facilities.
Councillor Kamran Caan, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Sport, at Coventry City Council, said: “We are delighted that Coombe Abbey Park has achieved such an outstanding result through VisitEngland’s nationally recognised assessment programme.
“This accreditation is particularly important because it validates the hard work and investment that has gone into maintaining Coombe as one of the region’s most loved destinations."
