Amendments to charges against men allegedly involved in rape of girl in Nuneaton
The trial is expected to begin at Warwick Crown Court tomorrow (January 28)
A man allegedly involved in the rape of a 12-year-old girl in Nuneaton last July (2025) now faces an additional charge, while the other has had a charge amended.
Mohammad Kabir, 24, and Ahmad Mulakhil, 23, both Afghan nationals, appeared at Warwick Crown Court, today (January 27).
Kabir had already been charged with intentional strangulation, aiding and abetting rape and attempting to take a child.
Today (January 27) his charge of aiding and abetting rape was amended to committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence.
Mulakhil has been charged with three counts of rape of a female child under 13, abducting a child, and two counts of sexual assault.
Today Mulakhil was arraigned for another charge, one count of taking indecent photos of a child.
Their trial is expected to begin at Warwick Crown Court tomorrow (January 28).
