An 18-year-old has been charged in connection with three recent robberies in Coventry city centre.

The charges follow an investigation by Coventry Neighbourhood Crime teams into incidents that happened during April and May.

Ajmal Firozi is set to appear before the magistrates in the city today, 13th May.

With warmer weather approaching, West Midlands Police are urging people to be cautious and maintain awareness of their surroundings to avoid falling victim to thefts, including from vehicles and homes.
