Woman's death in Falmouth being treated as "unexplained'"

Three people have been arrested and released under investigation

Police are treating the death of a woman in her seventies in Falmouth as "unexplained."

Officers were called were called to a property in Conway Road at around 9:05am on Tuesday 30 June after concerns over the death of a woman.

Devon and Cornwall Police say the woman's next of kin are aware and enquiries are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding her death.

A man in his 40s, a man in his 60s and a woman in her 30s – all from Falmouth – have been arrested on suspicion of intentionally doing an act capable of encouraging/assisting the death of another.

They have all been released under investigation.
