Woman dies after collision near St Ives
Police are appealing for witnesses
A woman has died after a collision near St Ives in February.
The collision involving a black VW Sharan private hire taxi and a black VW Polo happened at the junction with Towednack Road and the B3311 Halsetown Road at 4:40pm on Tuesday 24 February 2026.
A 47-year-old passenger in the Sharan was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital where she later passed away.
Investigating officers are appealing for witnesses that have not yet spoken to them or anyone with dash cam footage at the time or prior to the incident to contact them.
