Truro City Football Club has unveiled plans for a significant development initiative called the Milestone Project, which aims to expand the area surrounding the Truro City Stadium.

This ambitious project is a collaboration between Truro City Football Club, master developer LGV Property Holdings LLP, Cornwall Council, and Treveth Holdings.

The development seeks to transform the stadium district into a vibrant mixed-use area that will offer facilities and activities beyond matchdays.

Key features of the proposal include a new clubhouse, enhanced stadium capacity, accommodation, a community centre, a 3G pitch, as well as various health, retail, food and beverage, and commercial spaces.

The site will also benefit from its adjacency to Cornwall Council’s Park and Ride facility with 1,250 spaces, ensuring an integrated connection to Truro’s transport network.

With an eye toward community enrichment and economic impact, Truro City FC and its partners aim to use the space to provide lasting benefits to both Truro and the wider Langarth community.

The Milestone Project aligns with the club's vision to boost its economic footprint while offering a sustainable revenue stream to support club activities and its charity, Truro City Community Trust.

Robin Karkeek, Truro City FC's CEO, expressed his optimism for the development: "We have reached a real ‘Milestone’ opportunity for development in and around the Truro City Stadium site, that will underpin the needs of the club for future generations."

The project reflects Truro City's dedication to strengthening its community ties and achieving long-term success both on and off the field.
