Search underway for missing 75-year-old after boat washes up
David Fretwell's boat, Green Goddess, found in Hayle area
Police are intensifying their search for David Fretwell, a 75-year-old man whose boat was discovered washed up in Hayle, Cornwall on 6th March 2026.
David was last believed to have traveled along the North Cornwall Coast, passing locations such as Padstow and Newquay, before arriving in the St Ives area on 4th March.
He is described as a white male, of slim build, with short grey hair and approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall.
Anyone who has seen David or knows of his whereabouts should immediately contact the police by calling 999 and quoting log number 247 06/03/26.
