A duck pond at a park in Truro was cordoned off earlier today after a report that a suspected unexploded ordnance has been found.

Police say the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team attended and have confirmed the item at the pond in Boscawen Park was not an ordnance and instead a small, hand-held fire extinguisher.
