Plymouth man arrested after reports of assault near Looe

A man from Plymouth has been arrested after officers were called to a report of an assault at a holiday park near Looe on Friday.

It was reported that a woman had sustained knife wounds. She was treated in hospital and discharged later that day.

A 43-year-old male was arrested on Saturday, on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
