Person rescued from shed fire in Falmouth

Emergency services were called to Conway Gardens on Tuesday night

A person has been rescued from a shed on fire in Falmouth.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to Conway Gardens, Falmouth, at 11:15pm on Tuesday 16 June.

On arrival, firefighters carried out a search and successfully rescued one person from the shed. They were then handed to the care of the South West Ambulance Service.

Crews used two breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to tackle and extinguish the fire.

Devon and Cornwall Police were also called to the scene.
