Perranporth teen arrested over terrorism offences

A 16 year old's been arrested - and bailed pending further enquiries - by Counter Terror Policing South West.

The teen, from Perranporth, was detained on Thursday on suspicion of dissemination of terrorist publications contrary to section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006.

Devon and Cornwall Police tell us that searches were also carried out at addresses locally and in Redruth as part of the investigation.
