16-year-old in life-threatening condition after motorcycle crash near Launceston
Police are appealing for information after the collision on the B3254
A serious road traffic collision has left a 16-year-old motorcycle rider fighting for his life near Launceston.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, 4th August, at approximately 11.45am, on the B3254 at South Petherwin.
The crash involved a red Honda motorcycle and a red Volkswagen Polo.
The young rider from the local area was taken to hospital with serious injuries and is currently in a life-threatening condition.
His family has been informed.
The driver of the Volkswagen was uninjured and remained at the scene following the collision.
Authorities have urged anyone with relevant information or dashcam footage to contact the police.
The road was closed for several hours for the investigation, reopening at around 8.50pm.
