Isles of Scilly Steamship Group CEO Stuart Reid to step down
Reid plans to move to a new opportunity after over a decade with the group
The Isles of Scilly Steamship Group has announced that Stuart Reid, their CEO of seven years, will be stepping down from his role next year.
Reid, who has been with the company for 13 years, has resigned to pursue a new opportunity in the transport sector.
His final day will be on 16th February 2027.
During his tenure, Reid played a pivotal role in the group's expansion and development.
The Board expressed gratitude for his leadership and commitment, wishing him success in his future endeavours.
Recruitment Process and Interim Arrangements
The search for Reid’s successor is underway.
In the event that a new CEO has not been appointed by Reid’s departure in February, CFO Judith Piper will fill the role as interim CEO.
Stuart Reid will assist in ensuring a smooth transition for his successor once appointed.

Until Reid's departure, he remains focused on key projects including integrating Alderney operation into Skybus and overseeing the technical acceptance of Scillonian IV.
