Horse rescued from gate in St Agnes

A horse has been rescued after getting stuck in a gate at St Agnes.

Cornwall Fire & Rescue crews from Perranporth and Tolvaddon attended the scene at 4.45pm on Monday.

The animal which had both its rear legs trapped in a metal gate was sedated by a vet whilst it was freed.

It's reported to be fit and well after the ordeal.
