Derelict Falmouth pub goes up in flames

Firefighters from across Cornwall have been tackling a major blaze at a derelict pub in Falmouth overnight.

Dramatic scenes have seen the Boslowick Inn pretty much destroyed according to witnesses.

Flames could be seen shooting into the night sky as the fire took hold of the building which has been the subject of a long running planning row with the council since it closed for business.

It's also been previously damaged by vandals.

People living close to the site have been urged to keep doors and windows closed by fire bosses due to smoke.
